Mother’s Day Service

While briskly walking the aisles at our local department store in search for the perfect last-minute gift, we were overwhelmed at the escort of one holiday decor, quickly shuffling through the next months to the next holiday merchandise. Mother’s Day. An important day for sure, but what about the days between now and then?

Quickly reverting back to our notes, we glance at the ideas brainstormed for this special day at church. Nailing down a plan is comforting. Do you have plans for Mother’s Day?

Mother’s Day is a beautiful day for a beautiful honorable woman that lives her life for others. Thank you, mothers!

Whatever you decide to do for Mother’s Day this year, may you continue to be blessed by the faithful, loving women in your church and life. Praise God for you, faithful readers, that may find yourself at the beginning of this season- you can still be a mother figure or help direct children back to honoring their mothers- a very noble calling in itself.

Or you may be in the midst of a difficult busy season but filled with blessings. Happy Mother’s Day to you- remember the days may be long, but the years are short! Time speeds by so quickly, enjoy those beautiful moments and gifted blessings!

And then those that are wrapping up this season or have already entered into Grand Mother or GG Motherhood. Thank you for your labor of love! May you be blessed with many more years of influence on the lives around you.

Lastly, mother figures. Whether choosing not to have children in your current season of life, or unable to have children; your influence of love in this world matters!

While barrenness is something that I have not experienced, love from a mother figure that was barren is. I am so grateful for the women that have influenced my life that were never able to have children. You influence. Thank you.

If you do not have children, or currently do not have some to love in this season, remember there are always people in this broken world, looking for “extended family”. Unfortunately, this world has sin that leaves homes and families split or broken for decades, if ever repaired. Your purposeful love to an “adopted child or grandchildren” leaves an influence.
