You Are Worth More Than Every Leaf that Falls This Autumn
Just as seasons come and seasons go, so do the leaves of deciduous trees. While color rings in the autumn season amongst the deciduous trees, leaf peepers and a few conifers popping with color.
Isn’t it amazing the way God created all things?
Among that creation is you!
You are more important to God than all the leaves that fall this autumn!
Your worth and value is not measured by your job, your money or social status! You were created for HIS glory; in His image He created you.
Do you know how valuable you really are to Him? I hope dear friend you do! His word is simple, plain and clear when it comes to His love towards YOU!
You do not bare a sin too large, that He cannot forgive! HE loves you and desires to have fellowship with you! Have you ever really stopped to think about what your life is really worth?
“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” Romans 3:24
What will be left if/when you pass? Every day is a gift indeed, with 1440 minutes today- what are you doing with it? All the $ money in the world will not buy a longer life or a sweeter seat in eternity! (Only by grace can we be saved, saved from our sin and sealed for eternity as child of God!)
“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” Ephesians 1:13
It really is that simple to see, you were sealed for a purpose! Salvation is just the first part!
God desires to spend time with you, meet your needs, love you unconditionally and grow closer to Him. He created you for this purpose. And for you to bring Him glory!
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23
Realizing you were a sinner was to point out the law existed so we can see where we fall short. We all have sin, and we need to repent of that sin. But, let us not forget that sin entered into the world by curse. (Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden- Genesis)
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
God graciously desires all to be forgiven and made a way, it was prophesied throughout the entire old testament.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
Beautiful grace and mercy abounds. God bestows upon us His son, Jesus Christ. A way. A bridge to Him.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
Simply knowing our state and confessing our sins is enough for forgiveness of them as well. Have you trusted in Jesus as your Savior before? Have you called on HIS name before?
“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:21
Trusting with all your heart that He loves you, sent His son for you and having faith that Jesus died for your sins is enough to see God loves YOU! (1 Peter 3:18-22)
He wants YOU to be saved!
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
It is His gift to YOU!
He LOVES YOU more than you will ever know and more than anyone could! When you are ugliest and the least desirable to be around- His love does not diminish!
“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16
God is love. It is not a characteristic He puts on or takes off, HE IS LOVE! You are always loved by God. He created and perfectly designed you in HIS image! (Which was good- Gen.)
One sin however, is enough to condemn us. He knew NO sin, He is sinless.
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38
He desires you to turn from those sins, repent and confess those sins and live for HIM!
And while we seek His forgiveness, He is faithful to hear us.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” Ephesians 2:8
There is nothing we can do to earn salvation. In fact, it is all temporal without Christ. We cannot work our way towards salvation, it is all God!
“Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:9
Is it really that simple? Why do customs and religions make it complex? Let me first ask, is the Bible the center of your customs or religion? If the Bible is God’s Holy word, we should probably find out what it says for ourselves.
Why do you think there are so many versions now and attacks on Bible translations?
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” 1 John 5:13
He never desired for you to walk around NOT knowing your eternal destiny! Because that is only the first part. (Most important indeed!) But you have 1440 minutes today to steward your time. What will you invest in?
Remember, all you do for HIM is eternal (forever)!
