Sunday’s Song: For All He’s Done

Music moves the heart. Although my purpose for Sunday’s song was to share a new or unfamiliar hymn that has gotten lost in time and publications. Many were never reprinted or were missing key verses. As beautiful as they are, it seems such a shame to not become familiar with their beautiful melodies and sweet messages within. However, with copyright and touchy “sharing” capabilities, my posts were often removed. I am not claiming any of the music I share, but, I also don’t want to stop sharing beautiful music. So, I will go a different way. Personally, I believe there is music and church music. As God commands us in His word, to do things decently and in order; taking a conservative stance on Holy music is often a “gray area” or turn off in many churches. Being more traditional, personally I love hymns! However, there are a lot of great songs that exemplify and praise the Lord. So, I will be sharing songs that are beautiful and you may have heard differently. However, the key message within is what makes it special and done in a exemplary way, only adds value; and delights my soul! I hope you enjoy this Sunday’s Song!

Sunday’s Song: For All He’s Done

“For All He’s Done” is a beautiful song written by the talented tenor, Chris Allman. A powerful, moving song written and performed by the gospel group, Greater Vision. Greater Vision Music, having a country flavor, has many more solid projects of one of the most awarded songwriters in gospel music, Rodney Griffin. I highly recommend taking a listen to their CD’s for yourself, including the Gerald Wolfe’s Hymns Sing. With the privileged to have had heard them in person at a Friday night church sing, I assure you, that through the years their music has been and continues to be soul stirring and beautiful praising of our sweet Savior!

Greater Vision Music!

While I love the sweet singing of Greater Vision, I will state my favorite version is geared towards the choir. So without further ado, I would like to share has been published by the West Coast Baptist College Choir.

For All He’s Done

Every morning when I wake up to see the sun.

I can’t help but think about the Lord and all the things He’s done

He meets my every need.

You know He’s been so good to me.

And I can’t help but praise the Lord for all He’s done.

For all He’s done.

I’m gonna lift my hands and praise Him.

For all He’s done.

I’ll try to live my life to please Him.

Even though I don’t deserve to live,

My life has just begun

And I can’t help but praise the Lord for all He’s done.

There are many things that I could praise God for.

And if I started now, until I die.

There’d still be many more

If I could mention only one.

I’d have to thank Him for His Son.

And that’s enough to praise the Lord for all He’s done.

For all He’s done.

I’m gonna lift my hands and praise Him.

For all He’s done.

I’ll try to live my life to please Him.

Even though I don’t deserve to live,

My life has just begun

And I can’t help but praise the Lord for all He’s done.

Last, but not least I would like to share this song in another version, because many of you beautiful ladies serve in small churches, and sometimes in order to have a special, it means a solo. Enjoy this beautiful young lady @LookingtoJesus on guitar as she beautifully sings a beautiful song slightly different.
