Oh, How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You

Isn’t it such a blessing to have wonderful friends and family that love us and we get to love here on earth? Even the best-est of relationships are not perfect. We are flawed humans, and even the best humans we love and that love us do not compare to the love bestowed upon us from our sweet Heavenly Father.

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

In every struggle and hard time, HE never leaves our side. HE weeps, rejoices and cares more than we can ever imagine. With every triumph, HE is the unseen “cheerleader” joyfully shouting, THAT’S MY CHILD! Over and over again, as I go to study scriptures of certain topics, the LORD places HIS reminders of HIS LOVE in front of me. There is so much more meaning and depth to the definition of LOVE; and even though I desire for my life to be “perfection” in pointing others to HIM, I fail HIM continually. I may react in a way, unfit for a daughter of the king. Or get irritated with an individual and remember all the times God has shown me grace when I probably irritate HIM. OH, HIS love for me always is, not dependent on the circumstances, nor my responses. My GOD is amazing! I do not have to tell you that though, you know this too.

Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.” 1 Kings 8:56

OH, how sweet it is to be loved by God! You can feel HIS presence in your life as you walk and talk with HIM. Gently, HE reveals HIS love throughout your day, often using other people. Each blessing, as I am sure you can recall. Those extraordinary times when you did not see a way, and HE sent a solution and remedy. Not because you did something, but because HE IS GOOD! Your prayers place things in motion and connect with an infamous, all knowing and providing God. Moments when you felt like quitting, and a small reminder was personally hand delivered, by your Savior. A night you could not pray, be HE heard you anyways. OH, sweet friend, isn’t HE a great God? We all love to be loved. Yet, God’s love is a love one must step into. It always was and always will be, but it is up to us to accept and cling to in paralysis times.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” 1 John 4:8

Do you “feel” HIS love today? We must remind ourselves feelings are not truths. Can feelings be validated or acknowledged, yes. But, we can be deceived. Whether or not you feel love from your sweet Heavenly Father, does not change HIS love. HE loves because HE is love! If we do not “feel” loved, we have the beautiful testimonies, precepts or Word of Truth. The Bible. Open it and read it for yourself. GOD IS LOVE (1 John 4:8). Did you know that the variations and root word LOVE appears over 500 times in your Bible? I will leave today with a favorite:

“And now, Isreal, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy GOD, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thyGod with all thy heart and with all thy soul,” Deuteronomy 10:12
