Happy National Teacher’s Day!
Although in the USA Teacher appreciation week falls on the first FULL week in May which means next week, today is Nationally recognized as National Teacher’s Day! Be sure to thank all the teacher’s in your life. Many of them do so much more behind the scenes than we will ever realize. Thank you for investing in other lives.
To my ministry wives and Christian workers- THANK YOU! It is a lost art, unpaid job that invests on average a pastor’s wife will invest 175 hours a year for Sunday school, 104 hours in the nursery and children’s church, 72 hours in youth devotions and 192 hours a year teaching Bible. AND some of you do ALL of the above! That totals to 543 hours a year for the average small church pastor’s wife. Thank you! I am privileged and honored to serve along side you. I know some of you have invested 30+ years in the ministry, praise God! Thank you!
Do not forget to thank the teacher’s in your life today. Or spoil them next week!
