Girl, Why?

Why do you doubt your worth?

Why do you question your value?

Why are you sad and depressed?

Why do you wonder and think of the what ifs?

Why do you let people’s negativity dictate your thoughts of yourself?

Why do you not see how beautiful you are?

Why are you trying to be something you’re not?

Girl, why?

Stop Looking Behind YOU! Look ahead, what do you see?

Girl- Let’s Talk: Girl, Why?

First, hold that thought of what you see for just a minute!

“Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:14

Everywhere we turn society crams down our throats what we should wear, what we should eat, how we should get our nails done, how we should act and react, what we should look like and SO ON! Hog wash! Have you ever picked up a rose and said man, you’re ugly? Probably not, but who told you to love roses more than lilies? Who said carnations are more valuable than sunflowers? False advertising is everywhere. We are influenced by every single thing around us selling us lies.

If you have ever thought you were not pretty enough, not smart enough, not athletic enough,not thin enough; I can assure you, you were lied to! You were sold a bottle of hogwash! Society is cruel. People can be vicious! I have news for you, you are a daughter of the KING! Not just any king, but the Most High King. King of Kings! As a princess, you were created perfectly in your Heavenly Father’s image in which HE designed you. He does not see as we see! He looks deep within. He made you HIS princess with unique abilities and purpose for His Kingdom!

“Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.” Isaiah 43:7

Girl, you are apart of the royal family when you accept Jesus as your Savior! You have full access to anything and everything of HIS through prayer. His provision and love awaits for your return. Praying, you entrust your needs and desires to HIS plan. YOU are BEAUTIFUL GIRL!!! He answers every prayer in HIS fashion, in HIS time, and in HIS way. HE is good! Sweet princess, celebrate whom God designed you to be! That is your self-worth!

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Gen. 1:27

Stop looking back, seek forgiveness, repent if you need to and accept Christ; but wipe the dust off your feet from that desert behind you and lean unto God’s grace and provision! Live in truth. Saturate your mind with the Holy Word of God. Get yourself a King James Bible. If you’re drinking from a well, do you want crystal clear water, of course- not the part water/part something else. READ His word, memorize scripture, talk & pray with HIM throughout your whole day, schedule a time to spend with Him daily, find some Godly music, and plug into a solid church. If you need to get in touch with God, get in one of them old-fashioned kind. You will get BIBLE truth! It may not have a band or all the programs, but it’s connection is direct! Do you want to honestly jump-start your Christian life? Find a strong church. If you say how- ask these 2 questions. (AT THE END OF THE POST). That is the honestly the fastest way to grow in the Lord and leap forward from the time you wasted. Like drinking water out of the fire hose, you’re going to catch something! Try it. Stick it out, you might like it. If you start growing and leave, that’s between you and God. But lock in somewhere solid and let the LORD feed you what you need!

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

Your heavenly Father loves and cares for your and your life. You are His precious daughter, fashioned in HIS image. Created for HIS glory! He really loves you and would never cast you out. There is NOTHING you could possibly do in this life that is unforgivable. In fact there is only one sin that is ever mentioned as unforgivable, and that was leaving this Earth not believing and trusting Christ as your Savior!

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? “ 1 Cor. 6:9a

He created you perfectly!

You are enough!

Your life matters! You did not blow your shot. If you are still living and breathing, you still have an opportunity to make your life something for Christ! HE loves you! And no matter how “bad” you think you “messed it up” you can always find hope, forgiveness and grace at the feet of our Lord. He is the faithful friend you needed!

Remain and bask in HIS love for you. You are His child and He sees you right now.

It’s not too late!

Friend wherever you came from, near or afar off; He is waiting with open arms. All of us can turned upside down if we are not steadfast, that’s Satan’s game. HE loves casting those seeds of doubt and lies in our paths to trip us up. HE is a liar, do not believe him! God to God’s word and see for yourself.

If you are in a “wait” lean on HIM and trust that it is for a purpose.

If you feel like the winds are raging and you cannot hear HIM any longer or you don’t know if HE even hears you. WAIT and LEAN IN to HIM! I found during these periods, they pass quickly (and easier) if I lean in harder. Take HIS promises back to the throne in prayer. Placing my heart before HIM, He binds and holds me through the storm.

If you are in a funk or “weird” season, change things up a bit. Get out your GIRL TALK checklist. GIRL TALK– Are you Going to God? Are you Interested in the things of God? Are you Reading God’s word? Are you Leaning on those promises? Are you Talking to God more? Are you Aware or Alert to actually hear HIS response? And are you still Looking for ways to Leap? Are you Kingdom minded? With these attributes in check and balanced, any rough season can be conquered with joy and Heavenly hope. And our balance can easily shift into proper position. Habits take time to naturally develop and consistency is key. BUT knowing your worth will help change how you view yourself. May it be more like the way God’s views us.

So overall, why do we need to look, act and dress a certain way? We don’t! We were perfectly created. If you are a hair stylist, style hair the best you can for Jesus. If you have a trade skill, be the best you can at that trade for Christ! If you are nudged to stay home and raise a family, know that you can do that too. Perhaps the scary world of homeschool has been on your heart and mind lately, you are more than capable. Seek and smother everything in prayer. God will lead if it is HIS way and desire for you!
