I love that this site can be used for HIS GLORY! It was not originally intended to go in multiple directions; however, it is nice to have a “common ground” to check in on for the visuals, verses and whereabouts that may be hard to get when the conversations are moving quickly or if there is poor sound quality.
Chapters 3 & 4 really focused on the “wise woman” and her standing out in the midst of the chaos. How does a wise woman communicate? How does she present herself? How is she about being apart of the solution versus the problem? True the Bible gives us characteristics of a wise woman or wisdom itself, but we all know when applied to life, it can be situational. A quick judgement is all we have in some situations and in other times we have the time to earnestly pray and wait. They question in perspective is not: “What is wisdom?” Rather, how does one apply it?
How often is it we know right, but then why do we not do it? Likewise wisdom. If eating cupcakes for breakfast is not healthy, why do people do it? There are times we really do not know what to do, or have a solution for a problem. (Other than given in scripture.) Yet, there are times when we DO know the solutions in our lives and/or in circumstances, but rather simply do not apply it for various reasons. Why? The author is also pointing at these thoughts.
