Beauty in Change

Change is inevitable.

Walking midst the journey of life, the world is ever changing round us. Beautiful family and friends are enter into glory, while sweet miracles are birthed daily. Change is an infinite factor in this thing called life.

However, with change comes a plethora of emotions and side affects. Excitement, fear, joy, pain, clutching, clenching and a even flickering flame within. Whether overcome with weakness or vigor; change can present beauty.

I do not know about you, but I LOVE autumn.

Autumn reminds me of the importance of change and reflection. As the beautiful leaves change on can be reminded this time of year of our own changes.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 1 Corinthians 5:17

Although you may enjoy making “New Year” resolutions and goals, at this time of year, we enjoy writing a list of gratitude; of what God has done this year AND a list of things we are seeking in prayer for HIM to do this new school year! This includes and does not limit ALL the desires of our heart and goals to attain for Christ within reach this new school year.

“Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:” Colossians 1:6

Change, new beginnings and autumn are just a few highlights of the season. Do not forget the sowing of seed and harvesting. Autumn is a beautiful time of year to be reminded to celebrate God’s goodness!

Lastly, midst all the changes of the season, the beauty within the change exists. Through every season in our lives, beauty is within, if we are resting in Christ. HIS precious words comfort, his loving arms wrap and hold us close, God’s beauty shines like the glistening reflection of sunlight upon the waters if we simply lean in!

Let us look for the beauty this season of our life. May you seek the beauty in the midst of your trials, struggles and pain. May you rejoices at the beautiful gifts God has blessed you with this season of life as well. And most of all, lean in and embrace Christ.

May you find the beauty in the change!

Embrace the beauty. Cling to Him and His word, because HIS love remains the same for you through every season of change!
