Isn’t the gift of music amazing? When we hear a beautiful message alongside a glorious tune, one cannot help but be moved. Oh, how beautiful it was to walk into a church with boisterous singing and the spirit moving in the midst of sweet sounds. Brothers and sisters harmonizing simple songs we hear and sing over and over! Beautiful is not a strong enough word!

Rejoicing with our brothers and sisters each Sunday, singing heavenly praises to our wonderful Lord and Savior is magnificent. Oh, how sweet it is! Old or new, as you hear these songs, I hope it blesses you greatly and rings beautifully in your heart all throughout the week.

Some of the sweetest songs we take with us our whole life, are the simplest with a beautiful message. So, this week, we went back to one you probably learned in Sunday School or Kids club. This Little Light of Mine!

Sunday’s Songs: This Little Light of Mine

Perhaps our favorite medley of this sweet simple song with another favorite song, Brighten the Corner. Either way, this Medley found on the Rejoice and Sing album by Voice of Praise is beautiful and will not disappoint.

This Little Light of Mine

This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.

This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.

Oh, this littler light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.

Let it shine, Let it shine, Let it shine.

Hide it under a bushel, NO! I’m gonna let it shine.

Hide it under a bushel, NO! I’m gonna let it shine.

Hide it under a bushel, NO! I’m gonna let it shine.

Let it shine, Let it shine, Let it shine.

Don’t let Satan [blow] it out! I’m going to let it shine.

Don’t let Satan [blow] it out! I’m going to let it shine.

Don’t let Satan [blow] it out! I’m going to let it shine.

Let it shine, Let it shine, Let it shine.

Since we are going back a couple years, we have to include the Oak Ridge Boys!

And a beautiful choir version. Smile and put a little pep in your step today! Enjoy the Harvard Krokodiloes.

An Accordion version- for you- my accordion fan! Brought to you by AccordtotheLord.

And a wonderful acapalla recording of the Clark family singing This Little Light of Mine. A key change at the end magnifies this beautiful song sung fabulously by these young men. Be sure to check out their music at the Clark Family Website HERE.

Last, but definitely not the least, a household favorite brought to you by Hyles-Anderson.

I hope your day is amazing in the house of the LORD! Safe travels to the snow birds heading home, extra caution and safety to those affected to by the tornado damages. Pray those in the far north and the mountain states are all shoveled out and everyone has a fabulous Sunday!

Happy Sunday!
