Day unto day, each warm sunrise in these cool mornings remind me of the value of God’s presence. Although we know God is always with us, it is so refreshing to see His hand in our lives personally. His drawing of our hearts and minds is absolutely beautiful. I the midst of His will, He intriquitly places handfuls of purpose in our lives. Growing us as we soak in nuggets of faith, truth and hope. Sure, the morsels of sweet words and trust each moment we spend with Him day to day is enough, because He is enough. But, oh how I long for those ah, ha moments. Glimmers of “Oh, that’s what you are doing God!”
As the warmth hits my crispy cool cheek, I am reminded of how the feeling of warmth on a crispy cold morning magnifies the warmth of the spring sun after a dim and frigid winter. Extra rays of heat from the longer days, and its contrast to the cool air. Much like the presence of God in nuggets after morsels of quiet time and His much needed teaching. Oh, how sweet our Lord is. I love Him so.
