With 6 Simple Ideas to make Father’s Day special at church, we saw how you can turn an ordinary service into a beautiful welcoming and homecoming for your mothers. We know with a little bit of effort, we can do the same for fathers! It is such a blessing to have the house of God full any day of they year, but what a treat it is to have a full family sitting together on Father’s Day. It is no secret that father’s shape the home and the world too. Many families try to be together for special days and services, Father’s day is no exception. What a blessing for dads to have a special treat with all their children attending the service, and celebrating alongside. What a way to celebrate Father’s day! Don’t let the dads fool you, who doesn’t love cute kids crafts and homemade gifts from little ones? Their faces with their beautiful project is just as sweet as the homemade gift. Sunday school crafts are one simple, extra way to say Happy Father’s Day! And while a simple craft may not change the world, it may change the dad in, and for, the world!

2. Special Music

Food on Father’s Day is always a win! Although any food will do, over the past few years and serving different areas, one conclusion for Father’s day was a “looking forward to event” was an afternoon nap. That being said, a Father’s day breakfast or right after church feast served Father’s Day best. If you are hosting a Father’s Day breakfast, the only way to go, is all out! From a full breakfast buffet to keeping it simple with biscuits and gravy with a couple sides. A Father’s Day breakfast can be a wonderful treat for mom too! 6. Guest Speaker

If for no other reason, a guest speaker is a great gift for the pastor’s family. The whole family can sit in church together, be encouraged, AND pastor gets a day to focus on fellowship (not feeding the flock from the pulpit)! But, overall, finding a guest speaker for Father’s Day is a wonderful way to be an extra blessing to your church. With families together and Father’s spending the day with a wide diversity, a guest speaker is often beautifully received and enjoyed by all.
