Kerry’s Kitchen: Sloppy Joe Casserole
Want a dinner that can feed a group of hungry men or kids? Sloppy Joes are a favorite among many kids, and tucking in veggies or a can of veg-all in the sloppy joe mix is one way to get their vegetables in, my preschool kiddos LOVED it, but another filling way to get your vegetables with a favorite (sloppy joes) is in this casserole! Best of all, it is SO SIMPLE!
Fry up 1 & 1/2 pounds of burger in your frying pan. Season as desired. We only use a pinch of salt and a 1/2 teaspoon of pepper.

When browned, add your favorite sloppy joe sauce, my kiddos eat anything, but LOVE Manwich BOLD the best!

After warming, place ready “sloppy joes” in a lightly greased 9X13 cake pan, if closer to 2 pounds of burger a lasagna pan (deeper) works as well. Next add 4 cans of green beans. Either kinds works, but french style bakes the best in this casserole. Spread evenly throughout the pan. Set aside.
Mix as indicated on the box of mashed potatoes for 10 servings. (*OR if you have left over mashed potatoes after a dinner, this will work too.) Spread evenly and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. OPTIONAL_ But so delicious! (The last 10 minutes top with shredded cheddar cheese.) Walla! Dinner is served!

Enjoy hot & Happy Baking!
