~Heat oven to 400 degrees. Next, place 8 oz or 1/2 package of bacon on a small cookie sheet.
~In a large skillet place 3 Tablespoons of butter. Melt on low heat. Add 3 cloves of fresh garlic, and a pinch of salt.
~Trim and snap approximately 1 pound of fresh green beans AND add to your skillet. Cover (while on medium-low heat). Do not over stir, beans will get mushy.
~As bacon crisps, remove from oven, place on cutting surface. With knife, cut tiny thin strips of bacon and add to your skillet.
~Remove cover on beans. On medium heat, stir in bacon until beans are tender. Remove from heat & enjoy. OR as our favorite for company, take those fresh garden beans (doubled recipe of course) and add them to a “warm” crockpot to stay warm until company arrives.
Enjoy! Happy Homemaking!
